# 31m Broward yacht The Admiral sinks following fire in Marina del Rey, California ## A 31-meter Broward motor yacht The Admiral was reported to have sunk in Marina del Rey, California, on the 23rd of May 2023. ## Damages and cause of the fire are still currently under investigation however it was confirmed that the fire initiated in the engine room. ### The Los Angeles Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire but the yacht later sank in the marina.
